Some more news. I just realized that numeric is no longer required to run snowballz! I don't know for how long it has been unneeded but it's not imported anywhere.
Also I found out that the version in Gusty is pretty old (pre Rabbyt). All well :)
Michael Lubker has been helping out with snowballz for a while now with planning and getting musicians. Unlike me he has Windows and Mac OS to test the game on. For the last couple versions snowballz has worked on windows XP and Vista but no mac. The font module in PIL was the culprit; and as you know the latest version of snowballz no longer relies on PIL (which is why I pushed for text capability in Rabbyt - which by the way makes Rabbyt ever more awesome). Michael recently informed me that snowballz now runs on Mac liked I had hoped it would! Three cheers for Rabbyt and four boos for PIL!!!
Today is a killer day. Matthew just found out that snowballz is in the Gusty (ubuntu for those that don't know) repository!! I knew it would get in there sooner or later, but it's still a pleasent suprise. :)
This release has quite a few new stuff:
